|Abstract: ||This research report is of a cost of illness study of multiple sclerosis in the Canterbury / Westland region. It outlines the economic costs of relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis to the people with the condition, those that support these people and the government. A summary of such costs has not been established in New Zealand before now. The findings in this report will be of interest to all people affected by multiple sclerosis, regional and national health funding agencies, and health and other social policy analysts in New Zealand.|
