Abstract
Eastwoodhill Arboretum is by definition 'a Botanical Tree Garden'. It has been in the hands of a Charitable Trust Board for the last five years and they are endeavouring to maintain and develop it further as an Arboretum. This document, set out with a Management Plan approach, is to collate objectives and policies, ideas and opinions that those involved with the property have, plus my own views, to give a guideline for the further development of the Arboretum for the educational, scientific and recreational needs of the people, both nationally and internationally. I feel this 'Garden' is of great importance to horticulturists, scientists and researchers, landscapers and the general public. In preparing this paper, it is hoped that it will aid management and those involved with Eastwood.hill, to make decisions so that everyone will be able to enjoy the resource to the full
