Wildlife of urban environments: some thoughts on the surprisingly un-surprising New Zealand context

    Hughey, Kenneth F. D.
    Abstract
The aim of this paper is to provide an overview of wildlife in the urban environment with an emphasis on the New Zealand, and in particular on the Christchurch context. Some conclusions from this overview analysis are made, while also suggesting some areas to which those interested in the biodiversity aspects of urban ecology might shift their attention.
