Abstract
Higher net photosynthesis rates were found for Caucasian or kura clover (Trifolium ambiguum) compared to white clover (Trifolium repens) in New Zealand pastures. This was attributed to Caucasian clovers higher chlorophyll content in comparison to white clover.
