This report endeavours to present an up to date document of the Garden of Tane, in Akaroa, Banks Peninsula. The objectives that form the basis of the report are to provide: 1. A historical account of the formation of the reserve 2. Details of the botanical content and it's status 3. The results of a questionnaire carried out during summer 1984 regarding facilities, management and users 4. An evaluation of management techniques 5. Suggestions for improvements
