Abstract
In New Zealand, seed potatoes are commonly stored inside sheds at ambient temperature, in low temperature coolers or even left un-lifted in the ground between crop defoliation and harvest. This research describes the response of yield of ‘Bondi’ and ‘Fraser’ crops planted with seed potatoes at different physiological ages (PA) generated during the storage phase. The mechanisms of the subsequent crop growth and development are compared amongst treatments.
