Abstract
This topic discusses how shearing sheep at different times of the year and at different intervals during the year can affect the overall production of sheep. The aspects of production affected by shearing are mainly Wool and Lamb Production. But because these aspects of production are discussed such factors as feed requirement, body heat production and the economics of shearing systems must also be discussed as they all combine to produce an overall effect.
