Agriculture and horticulture in the secondary schools of the Southern Educational Region of New Zealand

Abstract

The objective of the study was to learn how agriculture was taught in the secondary schools of New Zealand. Specifically, the objectives were to ascertain the status of teacher preparation, school facilities, teaching resources, students served and teaching practices, including the use of practical work and projects.
