Abstract
Heritage is about time. In 2000 Timothy and Boyd pointed out that heritage is what has been selected from the past for preservation. Thompson, with his Rubbish Theory, argued that often heritage is found in things that have been discarded but not destroyed. This paper is about such things. It is also about how the meaning that is attached to objects from the past can change due to the passage of time.
