Abstract
This manual has been designed as a complete guide and practical reference on how to plan, implement and evaluate any camp programme for the inclusion of disabled people. There is currently no tried and true manual of this nature developed in New Zealand. However, nationwide, there are certainly more and more camps being run for disabled people, through the Crippled
Children Society and other agencies. A growing and yet still relatively new area. I have, therefore, identified the need to
educate and provide information and resources in this area to assist
the community in pointing the way toward integration.
