Abstract
The brief is to identify clearly the particular attractions of, and detractions to, Naseby township, and its immediate surroundings and propose a form of development which protects these values and alleviates detractions for the mutual benefit of the people and their environment. Specifically: (i) Development must ensure the protection of the forest and the cultural values of the area. (ii) The relationship of the town to the surrounding area must be clearly established to protect and enhance the values which the people of Naseby regard as important.
