Abstract
Botany Division of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research began to study the flora and fauna of the Molesworth and Tarndale High Country Run in 1943 on behalf of the Department of Lands and Survey. This is being accomplished through a series of field trips to the station, numbering at least one every three years, but often more frequently. The very obvious changes in vegetation are clearly shown in an extensive series of photos and field measurements and notes. Our purpose in visiting the station in 1970 was to bring these up to date.
