Abstract
General introduction comparing natural and industrialised areas. Illustrating those worthy of preservation and development as recreational areas, and pointing out neglect and destruction due to interference in the natural ecology. And from this appraisal making recommendations and designs to enhance this area in terms of recreational, botanical and tourist potential.
