Abstract
New Zealand relies on export of primary products, particularly dairy products. China received 41% of NZ dairy exports by value, accounting for 20% of total NZ agricultural exports by value, in 2021 (StatsNZ, 2021). Understanding consumer attitudes to and preferences for UHT milk products could enhance dairy value chains and provide for product attributes that consumers want.
