Abstract
This report uses basic concepts of ecology and management, and attempts to link them together to form an ideal approach to wildlife management. Wildlife is an ecological resource. Its management requires linking its important ecological concepts with the concepts of management and planning. This gives an approach to wildlife management, which takes full account of ecological considerations. There are important economic questions also, which provide an underlying discussion throughout the report. Thus, the ideal approach to wildlife management attempts to take account of all factors in an ideal institutional and planning framework.
