Abstract
This project attempted to measure the rate and amount of topsoil movement by wind over agricultural land during specified periods. Two masts, one facing NE the other NW, were erected with airborne sediment traps at various heights. The amount of sediment collected varied with wind speed, rainfall, evaporation, and height of vegetation. These factors were graphed with the amount of sediment collected. From the results the rate and amount of movement seems to be greatest at the NE mast.
