Features that contribute to the success of residential subdivisions : A case study

Abstract

The overall purpose of this research study is to identify features that contribute significantly to the success of good quality residential subdivisions. The research focuses on the Knightsbridge residential subdivision in Napier, which has achieved above average success in terms of section sales and purchaser satisfaction. This subdivision has therefore been selected for analysis as a case study. The study is limited to the features that contribute to the success of residential subdivisions. It is beyond the scope of the present exercise to assess levels of current and future supply and demand, which is a topic for further research.
