Abstract
The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) defines food security as “access to sufficient, safe and nutritious food to meet dietary needs and food preferences for an active and healthy life” (FAO, 1996). Therefore food security no longer means access to only sufficient food, but also to food that enables them to have an active healthy life and that is in line with their personal values, whether these be ecological, religious or ethical.
