A survey of pests and pesticide use in Canterbury and Southland

Abstract

Agricultural chemicals have become increasingly important in New Zealand farming systems over the past two decades. This is evidenced by the increasing physical inputs of agricultural chemicals to farms over this period. This report presents results of a mail survey of Canterbury and Southland farmers regarding pests and pest control.
