St. James Walkway users : their characteristics, opinions, motivations and organisation

Abstract

This dissertation looks at the users of the St. James Walkway over the summer of 1981-82. The first chapter provides a background to the study, to the St. James area, and to the walkway's concept. Chapter Two describes the methods employed to survey the walkway users. Chapters Three and Four present the results of the survey. The final section concludes the research with four major general findings, and several guidelines for future research.
