Abstract
The aim of the project was to grow the cultivated white mushroom (Agaricus bisporus) by preparing a culture from the fruiting body. This included the following parts:
Part I:
Isolation of the fungus in pure culture from either spores or sporophores.
Part II:
Production of spawn.
Part III:
Production of fruiting bodies, i.e. the edible mushroom.
