Abstract
A glycogen-type storage polysaccharide was isolated from "Quins Oval" from the rumen of sheep. Physical, chemical and enzymic analyses were carried out on this polysaccharide to determine its molecular structure. Some investigations were also made into the enzymes involved in the endogenous degradation of this polysaccharide by "Quins Oval" organisms.
