Abstract
Although many irrigation schemes have been designed and constructed, the design and construction of very few have been evaluated after those schemes have been completed. This thesis is concerned with post evaluation of crop water requirements and water supply for the Glenmark scheme, which changed from traditional design to alternative design by water harvesting methods. The thesis studies the results of design from engineering,. hydrologic, agronomic and economic aspects. The objectives are to study feasibility, design and implementation versions of Glenmark Irrigation Scheme. Modelling rainfall-runoff for water supply, water requirements and management are studied in this work.
