Abstract

Researchers and members of local government will come together to discuss the benefits of a World Heritage bid for the Castlemaine Diggings National Heritage Park. The workshop will begin, on 23 October, with a business oriented discussion among experts regarding the pros and cons of a WHS. This will be followed on 24 October by a concentrated investigation into the cultural significance of the area and the impact of the potential bid.
