    Eastwoodhill Arboretum, Gisborne: A management plan : a dissertation submitted in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the Diploma in Horticultural Management, Lincoln College, Canterbury

    Abstract
    Eastwoodhill Arboretum is by definition 'a Botanical Tree Garden'. It has been in the hands of a Charitable Trust Board for the last five years and they are endeavouring to maintain and develop it further as an Arboretum. This document, set out with a Management Plan approach, is to collate object­ives and policies, ideas and opinions that those involved with the property have, plus my own views, to give a guideline for the further development of the Arboretum for the educational, scientific and recreational needs of the people, both nationally and internationally. I feel this 'Garden' is of great importance to horticulturists, scientists and researchers, landscapers and the general public.
