| dc.description.abstract | My intention in this study is to have compiled a recreation inventory of the Kapiti Coast for 1982.
Having lived on the Kapiti Coast for most of my schooling years and returned to the area to work on the Kapiti Summer Recreation Programme during my University holidays, I have recognized the need for a comprehensive document on recreation sites and facilities in the area since development in this field has occurred rapidly over the last few years.
The background work for this study has involved making myself familiar with the various recreation sites and facilities in the Kapiti area.
The layout of this study has been designed so that it may be used as a back-up document for the development of a promotional booklet which is to be produced and made available for both residents and visitors to the Kapiti Coast. | en |
