    Modelling Change

    Trought, Michael C.
    Abstract
Understanding and anticipating how climate (long term) and weather (short term) influences the future development of grapevines is necessary if the correct management decisions are to be made. Dr Junqi Zhu, of Plant & Food Research, recently described how mathematical models can be used to predict grapevine yields in the current season, while Dr Amber Parker, from Lincoln University, looked at the longer-term consequence of climate change.
