dc.description.abstract | Using cross-country panel data from the World Bank and an innovative unbalanced panel fractional response model, we show evidence that agricultural mechanization significantly reduces global vulnerable employment, and the vulnerable employment reduction effects of mechanization for women are larger than that for men. The findings underscore the importance of promoting agricultural mechanization to increase employment stability and mitigate gender gaps. | en |
