Abstract
Coeliac New Zealand teamed up with Lincoln University to conduct a study to identify consumer sentiments and characterise the retail environment for gluten-free (GF) products in New Zealand. More than 700 members participated in this research revealing a general discontent within the coeliac community regarding the availability, cost, and quality of GF food in New Zealand.
