A spatial economic analysis of electricity supply in Christchurch
Abstract
The objective of this thesis is to utilize spatial economic analysis to satisfy anticipated 1974 electricity demands in Christchurch in the most economical way possible. Chapter II deals briefly with the electricity supply industry in
general, and then proceeds to state the specific problem to be analysed.
Chapter III outlines the theoretical considerations of relevance to this
study. The operational models and methodologies that have been used in
spatial economics are reviewed in Chapter IV, and the model and methodology
most suited to this problem, is chosen. Chapter V details the development
