dc.description.abstractThe two big meat co-operatives, PPCS and Alliance, are currently exploring closer working relationships. This includes possible amalgamation. It indicates how tough things have become in the sheep industry. This report looks at the current New Zealand meat industry with consideration of the industry co-operatives such as AFFCO, Alliance and PPCS and considers where it may head.en
