Abstract
Motoring occupies a significant and increasing part of human experience. This study briefly explores the relationship between the motorist on the move and the landscape. It discusses some of the factors which determine the quality of the motoring experience and applies them to an existing road situation. Drawings accompany and are complimentary to this text. They show details of the site survey, analysis of information and design recommendations.
