Memorial and commemorative 'trees' at Lincoln University
Abstract
This is a draft report on the status of memorial and commemorative ‘trees’ at Lincoln University. Trees is used here in its widest sense and includes others. Most are single trees, but some are group plantings of a variety of New Zealand native shrubs and perennials, in another a group of kauri trees and in yet another instance two grape vines. In an effort to locate and compile an updated list of memorial trees and commemorative plantings, I photographed those that are currently still there and if they had commemorative plaques photographed those as well.
