Herding the cats: change management in New Zealand primary industry
One of the constants of life is change. Change works against the forces of stability and routine for which people are inherently more comfortable. Change management is a relatively new field of study and over recent years has evolved to create a more sophisticated analysis of the disciplines required for successful organisational change. The Kellogg’s scholarship project has provided me with a guilt edged opportunity to leverage into the experiences of many significant leaders of New Zealand primary industries, both current and past, particularly with regard to their experiences in change management.
