Abstract
Landscape architecture in New Zealand is a relatively young profession, with the organisation representing professional landscape architects only being formed as an incorporated society in 1973. The New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects (NZILA) will thus celebrate its 40 year anniversary in 2013, and intends to celebrate this milestone by joining with the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA), which is also having a celebration in 2013 for its 50th anniversary.
