Abstract
In this chapter, we explore the main drivers of anthropogenic climate change, the types of impacts that are expected to occur as a result of a changing climate, and the ways in which they are relevant for organisations. These include the impacts on the natural environment, which underpins the effective functioning of society, including the related issues of food production, displacement, and supply chains. We look at the more direct human-centred topics of human health, security, and equity, as well as infrastructure and opportunities for innovation and green growth, incorporating case studies to illustrate the critical relevance of climate change on organisations. Importantly, the way these impacts interact and potentially cascade through the economy is also examined
