Abstract

Early work revolved around putting numbers to sprinkler hydraulic characteristics. This was followed by a pump performance and endurance testing programme, culminating in Test Reports T/38, T/56 and Project Report P/12. The Vibar screen was developed during this period and the final design was evolved in 1976. This device is designed to remove all unpumpbale solids from dairy shed effluent.
