Clean water hydraulic performance of liquid manure sprinklers

Abstract

This report presents the results of tests performed at Lincoln College to determine the clean water hydraulic characteristics of liquid manure sprinklers currently available in New Zealand. It supersedes Public Test Report TI 55 (1973). Only two of the sprinklers listed in TI 55 are readily available now and since these models have not physically changed over the last three years the results published in 1973 are reproduced in this report. In addition, the performance of five new sprinklers is reported.
