Abstract

Part II of this manual is a summary of some of the recommendations contained in Part I. These sections relate primarily to the assessment of the flow rates required within the system and to the hydraulic design and operation of the system components. This information will be useful as a quick reference source for designers, but the necessity of regarding Part I as required background reading cannot be too strongly emphasised.
