Abstract
Initiated in 2012 by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO, the Polar Prediction Project (PPP) aims at advancing scientific knowledge for polar weather and climate services. This poster explores how weather, water, ice and climate (WWIC) information is currently being used and produced in the Polar Regions, by whom, and for what reasons. Two key concepts – the value chain and mobilities –conceptualise the complex interactions between the production and use of environmental predictions.
