8th Australian soil judging competition handbook: Virtual competition Nov. 2020

Abstract

This handbook has been modified to reflect the changed format of the competition, but remains consistent with national approaches to soil description and land evaluation and the approach used in previous Soil Judging Competitions. While description from photographs is by no means ideal, we have endeavoured to ensure that the material provided is of a quality that any professional pedologist could describe all relevant attributes of the profiles.
