Abstract
Diseases resulting from deficiencies of protein in the diet are widespread among the people of many developing nations. The report that protein deficiency will retard mental development has made the problem more acute and demand quicker solution. One way to alleviate this problem is to explore some novel sources for protein. Protein from plants is very promising.
