Abstract
Ngā motu ā tōna wā - Future Islands (a project based on indigenous practices involving the use of waste/midden to elevate ground levels above wet ground, as a means of developing island landscapes for ongoing use as sea levels rise. It uses Ōtautahi's residential red zone as the setting, as the earthquakes caused the land to subside, creating a proxy for sea level rise).
