Abstract
This article looks at the importance of land-based education and experiential learning to the future of New Zealand’s food and fibre sector. A successful career in the food and fibre industry requires critical analysis, problem solving skills and innovative thinking.
The practical insight into learning preferences and processes is helpful for training and upskilling in primary sector businesses.
