Abstract
Four in-vitro experiments were conducted to evaluate the direct anti-parasitic effects of a mimosa tannin extract (MTE) (Acacia mearnsii) on Teladorsagia circumcincta larvae in rumen fluid containing high or low concentrations of protein. The main objective of these experiments is to assist in the development of an effective feed supplement containing MTE as an alternative method to gastro-intestinal nematode control.
