Inter-industry structure of the New Zealand economy 1961-5

Abstract

This report is the second in our series entitled "Studies in the Structural Development of the New Zealand Economy" and it follows on directly from the first report in which we gave a general outline of the Unit's programme of research in this field and described the use of input output models for economic planning and projection, using by way of example, a simple three sector model of theeconomy. In this Report we present our estimates of a sixteen sector interindustry table of the economy for each of the years 1961-1965, and describe the methods used to derive these estimates.
