Abstract
Traditional Activity Cards consist of a set of cards which contains a series of iterative steps designed to provide students with an independent learning environment (Daily Activity Card Archive, n.d). Electronic Activity Cards are based on the format of traditional Activity Cards but provide rich media such as videos, audio, and interactive content to further enhance the students' learning. This dissertation describes a system that has been developed in Lab View™ to simplify the creation of electronic Activity Cards which can be viewed in LabView™ and RoboLab™. The system provides a higher level of abstraction from standard Lab View™ / RoboLab™ functionality making it easier for a developer who has minimal knowledge of these environments to create an Activity Card.
