The New Zealand Kellogg Rural Leaders Programme develops emerging agribusiness leaders to help shape the future of New Zealand agribusiness and rural affairs. Lincoln University has been involved with this leaders programme since 1979 when it was launched with a grant from the Kellogg Foundation, USA.en
My initial intention was to explore Trading Among Farmers (TAF) benefits, as an option for family succession. I believed TAF could be used as an alternative to, or combination of asset distribution, retirement cashflow, family succession vehicle etc ... During the 'education' process it became apparent that TAF's options and its flexibility would be wide and varied and therefore suitable for many farming business structures.en
