    Building the case for specialised academic English Instruction

    Abstract
    Their seminar will focus on an evidence-based approach to improve the learning outcomes of international students whose first language is not English. They will discuss the limitations of current assessment methods for language and demonstrate the importance of vocabulary in learning, with examples from their research into the technical vocabulary of horticulture.
