dc.description.abstractIn October 2017, Operation Solutions for Primary Industry (OSPRI) conducted an aerial 1080 baiting operation targeting possums over 59,594 ha (595.94 km²) of Molesworth Station. An aerial helicopter-based survey of red deer (live and dead) was conducted soon after by the Marlborough Branch of the New Zealand Deerstalkers Association. Advice on survey design was provided by New Zealand ecologists employed at Manaaki Whenua - Landcare Research and Cameron Speedy Director of Wildlife Management Associates Ltd, Turangi.en
